Investigative, analytical with sharp commentaries, left-wing debate and actuality, complete with the newest political literature.

The New Clarté is a leftist intellectual quarterly. We wrestle between journalism and the academic. We are more a political magazine than a cultural one, though the back pages contain book reviews.

The New Clarté delves into the most important developments and tendencies both nationally and internationally. We challenge and follow up with serious debates on the left, as well as seeking to influence the public. We print prominent leftist intellectual contributions from foreigners in Danish translation.

The New Clarté has roots in the previous Clarté movement in Denmark and internationally, a magazine that does not represent any political party, a magazine that investigates new questions as they emerge and raisees new answers which cut through.

Behind the publication of The New Clarté stands a loose group of leftist intellectual writers from the world of media, the union movement, left-wing and cultural arenas, which has established The New Clarté Association.
